Our involvement begins early in the planning process and continues through construction and closeout, with a focus on design coordination, constructability, and execution. We work with top architects, interior designers, and engineering firms to deliver homes grounded in timeless architecture and design restraint, defined by balanced proportions, thoughtful details, and lasting character rather than passing trends.
STRICKLAND BUILDING also provides construction consulting and litigation support for disputes involving homeowners, contractors, and developers.

KELLY STRICKLAND is a second-generation Charlotte home builder with deep roots in the community and a lifelong passion for construction. From an early interest in building to time spent on his father’s job sites, Kelly developed a hands-on appreciation for the craft that continues to shape his work today.
With more than 25 years of experience in residential construction and real estate development, Kelly specializes in high-end new construction, infill development, historic restorations, and complex renovations. His work is defined by attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and a commitment to quality from concept through completion.
Kelly is licensed as a General Contractor in North Carolina and South Carolina and is also a North Carolina Real Estate Broker/REALTOR®, as well as the Broker-in-Charge for Strickland Building.
He also provides construction consulting and litigation support in disputes involving homeowners, contractors, and developers.
He attended the College of Charleston, where he majored in Corporate Communications. Outside of his professional work, Kelly is active in his church and local community, serves on the board of a nonprofit organization, and is committed to volunteer and outreach efforts. He has also contributed pro bono to rebuilding efforts in Chimney Rock, North Carolina, following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
