Kelly Strickland, a second-generation Charlotte home builder, discovered his passion for construction early—starting with LEGO® projects and exploring his father’s job sites as a child. A native Charlottean, Kelly continues to live and build in the same beautiful area where he grew up, bringing over 25 years of experience in residential construction and real estate development. Experience includes single and multifamily infill developments, historic restorations, and complex renovations.

Kelly is licensed as a General Contractor in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as a North Carolina Real Estate Broker/REALTOR®, Qualifying Broker, and Broker-In-Charge for Strickland Building.

Kelly studied Corporate Communications at the College of Charleston. Beyond his professional work, he is an active member of Waypoint Community Church, enjoys “F3” workouts and fellowship, and a fan of live music with friends. He serves on the board of a local nonprofit and is actively committed to community involvement through volunteer work and outreach. Kelly also contributes pro bono efforts to the rebuilding of Chimney Rock, North Carolina, following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
